Emily Mitchell creates paintings and mixed media surfaces in her studio in Richmond, Vermont. Her work is a synthesis of color, movement, and her intuitive response to nature. Her art has been featured locally and is part of the University of Vermont Hospital’s permanent art collection. Emily teaches Painting and Ceramics at Champlain Valley Union High School and is the Head Coach of the EDGE Masters Swim Team, Vermont’s largest Masters Swim group.

All paintings and other artwork on this site were created by Emily Mitchell. Most of the photos were also taken by Emily or her husband, Chad. Student work is labeled as such.
